MissionMusic at Kohl Mansion is dedicated to enhancing the cultural fabric of the San Francisco Peninsula by providing quality chamber music and music education in the unique and historic setting of the Kohl Mansion and in local schools.
Music in the MansionLocated on the Mercy High School campus in Burlingame, California, the Kohl Mansion is a jewel-like setting for fine music. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this 1914 landmark features a gracious setting in the Elizabethan style Great Hall for intimate music on a grand scale. It is the perfect venue for the variety of musical programs consistently offered by Music at Kohl Mansion:

Music at Kohl Mansion has supplemented school programs in a variety of ways:

From its inception, Music at Kohl Mansion has considered music education for children a central part of its mission. Music making engages the entire brain: students with experience in the arts score highest on tests of creativity, expression and problem-solving. Establishing a vital and engaging relationship with music gives students a gift that will continue to enrich and delight them for life.
