with an introduction by Michael Steinberg

This will be the FOG’s only appearance anywhere this year.

The Mansion, still dressed in holiday splendor, welcomes this immensely talented and popular trio. As well as accolades for their work together, each of these long-time friends has individual accomplishments as a world-class musician. Pianist Garrick Ohlsson’s triumph as the Gold Medal winner at the 1970 Chopin competition placed him in the ranks of the world’s foremost pianists. He has appeared at Kohl Mansion for nine of the last eleven years. Violinist Jorja Fleezanis, concert-master of the Minnesota Orchestra since 1989, has performed professionally since age 23. And Michael Grebanier receives critical acclaim as principal cellist with the San Francisco Symphony. Both Ms. Fleezanis and Mr. Grebanier have appeared at Kohl Mansion since 1994. Program will include Brahms’s Piano Trio #1 in B Major, Op. 8.
